Jimmy Jean-Louis is an internationally renowned Haitian actor, dancer, writer and movie director.
He was born in Pétionville, Haiti on August 8, 1968. After growing up in Haiti until about the age of 12, Jimmy’s parents moved with him and his brother to Paris, France.
Although Jimmy experienced a bit of culture shock when he first arrived in Paris, he gradually adjusted to his new way of life in the bustling European capital.
Jean-Louis first started his career as a dancer and was very successful at it. He has even worked alongside major music recording artist such as Seal and Mariah Carey.
He then went on to pursue a career in the modeling industry.

Many more movie roles came after 2005, including Tyler Perry’s Diary of a Tired Black Man, Toussaint Louverture, One Night in Vegas and Doctor Bello. He also played in Relentless, The Cursed Ones and Joy.
On television, he started out acting in small roles and then went on to play in episodes of The Shield and The District.
Jimmy also starred in the hit TV show series Heroes, including Heroes Unmasked and Heroes Reborn.
In addition to his acting career, Jean-Louis has also written both One Night in Vegas and Jimmy Goes to Nollywood. He not only wrote but also directed “Jimmy Goes to Nollywood”.
