Per a resolution passed on Oct 6, 2022, The Council of Ministers has authorized Prime Minister Dr. Ariel Henry to seek international support to deal with the current humanitarian crisis in Haiti. The resolution was published in Haiti’s official government newspaper, Le Moniteur, on Oct 7, 2022.

Haitian-American pilot Tarah Ernest makes history
Haitian-American pilot, Tarah Ernest, served as the first officer on her first-ever direct flight from Miami, FL, to her hometown of Port-au-Prince, Haiti. After immigrating to the United States from Haiti in 1998, she decided to pursue her goal of becoming an airline pilot in 2018. She received an especially warm welcome after landing in Haiti.
