President Moise advocates for new Haiti constitution
President Jovenel Moise advocated for a new Haiti constitution in a tweet posted on his official Twitter page.
One which he says must put an end to the exclusion of the Haitian diaspora by allowing them the right to vote, all of which the President hopes will bring about a more fair and united Haiti. VIDEO
L’Électricité d’Haïti (EDH)
The Director General of EDH, Michel Présumé, expressed thanks for the work completed at the Péligre power station.
The improvements at this electric power station will increase the number of hours of electricity supply available in the Quest and Centre departments of Haiti.
The Director General of EDH also confirmed the delivery of several new transformers that will supply power at the Cap-Haïtien International Airport.
Conseil Electoral Provisoire (CEP)
On Tuesday, October 27, 2020, the Haitian President spoke with the new Conseil Electoral Provisoire (CEP) members.
The discussion centered around the operation of the electoral machine.
According to the President, the election advisers reaffirmed their commitment to “free, inclusive, fair, and transparent elections.”
Haiti Central Bank Symposium
On Tuesday, October 27, 2020, President Jovenel Moise participated in a symposium at the BRH (Haiti’s Central Bank).
The event’s theme centered around the need for good governance and the fight against corruption.

Ministry of Culture
Today, the Director General of the Ministry of Culture, Camy J Depas, is scheduled to participate in the International Language Day celebrations for the Haitian Creole language.
The event will take place at the Delma Municipal Palace with the theme of: “The Creole language is the guardian of our cultural heritage!“
