The following is a list of players that will be representing Haiti in the 2016 World Cup qualification matches.
Johny Placide – Goalkeeper
Johny Placide is the current captain and goalkeeper for the Haitian national soccer team.
The 28-year-old was born in Montfermeil, France, a small commune outside of Paris.
Since the start of his career, Placide has played for several French soccer clubs.
The first team he played for was the Le Havre Athletic Club in Normandy, France.
Since January 2013, Johny Placide has played for the Stade de Reims.
After nearly three seasons with the french soccer club, the goalkeeper separated from the team in July 2016.
As of 2020, Placide currently plays for FC Tsarsko Selo Sofia, a Bulgarian soccer club.
Kevin Lafrance – Defender
Kevin Lafrance was born in Bondy, France, a small suburb northeast of Paris.
Lafrance is currently one of the starting defenders for the Haiti national soccer team.
He has also played for several European futbol clubs in Poland and the Czech Republic.
Lafrance is currently a defender for APOEL FC in Nicosia, Cyprus.
The 26-year-old became a household name among Haitian soccer fans after performing exceptionally well in several of Haiti’s national team competitions.
Duckens Nazon – Attacker
Duckens Nazon is one of the most competitive international footballers.
Nazon was born in Châtenay-Malabry, a suburb southwest of Paris, France.
The 22-year-old international soccer player has competed for several soccer clubs in various countries, including France, India, and Portugal.
Nazon is currently a forward for Sint-Truidense V.V., a Belgian football club.
Kervens Belfort – Attacker
Kervens Belfort is a 24-year-old soccer player from Petit-Goâve, Haiti.
He is also another powerful attacker on the Haitian national soccer team.
Belfort has been playing for Haiti in international competitions since 2010.

In addition to Haiti, Belfort has also played in Europe for futbol clubs in France and Switzerland.
Belfort currently plays for Abahani Limited Dhaka, a professional team based in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Meschak Jérôme – Defender
Meschak Jérôme is a 26-year-old veteran defender for the Haitian national soccer team.
Jérôme was born in Liancourt, Artibonite, and has represented Haiti in several international matches for several years.
He has also competed on the national team for numerous CONCACAF, FIFA World Cup, and Caribbean tournaments.
Jérôme currently plays for El Paso Locomotive FC, a U.S. based soccer team in El Paso, Texas.
Charles Hérold Jr. – Midfielder
Charles Hérold Jr. is a 26-year-old Midfielder from Gonaïves, Haiti. Hérold Jr. currently plays for the Cibao futbol club in the Dominican Republic.
Max Hilaire – Midfielder
Max Hilaire is another French-born footballer from Bondy, France.
He has competed as a Midfielder on the Haiti national soccer team since 2014. Hilaire currently plays for Stade Poitevin Football Club, a french futbol club based in Poitiers, France.
