Gabel was undoubtedly one of the best-performing bands at this year’s 25th Annual Haitian Compas Festival, held on May 20, 2023, at Bayfront Park in Miami, FL.
The lead band singers, Flav & Katalog, put on a spectacular performance that wowed the crowd and elicited an enthusiastic response from it’s fans.
The performance started with the presentation of a banner that read, “BAY AYITI YON CHANS.”
In addition to the fantastic performance by the group’s backup dancers, Gabel also performed many of their hit songs. The list of popular songs performed by Flav & Katalog included, “Poko Pare“, “Pa Ka Fe Pitit“, and “Beni“.
Finally, the group ended their festival performance with an engaging competition that split the crowd in half and challenged each side to cheer louder than the other.
