Haitian griot is a type of fried pork meat.
The pork meat is first prepped & seasoned before being cooked in a pot of boiling water.
Once the pork is done cooking, it is then fried to a golden brown consistency.
The fried pork is typically served with fried plantains and a spicy Haitian pickled slaw called pikliz.
Haitian griot is widely considered as one of the main national dishes of Haiti.
