Haitian National Police spokesperson Michel-Ange Louis Jeune issued an official statement on the fatal traffic dispute that left two policemen dead this past weekend.
Mr. Jeune explained that an apparent argument between the two policemen quickly escalated into outright violence.
The deceased PNH officers were identified as Divisional Inspector Jean Caillito Casséu and Officer Cornet Jackson.
News of the deadly exchange was widely circulated on social media.
