Radio Kiskeya FM Haiti – la radio de l’ile

Radio Kiskeya FM is a popular Haitian radio station that broadcast live from Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The station is also commonly referred to by its slogan, “la radio de l’ile”.

Radio Kiskeya provides breaking news coverage and in-depth analysis on a wide range of current issues impacting Haiti.

The radio station features a robust network of correspondents throughout the country that provide broad perspectives on breaking news events and political issues.

One of the station’s most popular and powerful voices is journalist Liliane Pierre-Paul.

Radio Kiskeya also appeal to a wide range of age groups. This can be heard in the expansive selection of Kompa, Tropicana and traditional Haitian music played throughout its programs.

The station has also built an impressive global presence. It continues to attract new listeners through its growing social media following and online news website.

Some listeners often refer to the station as “radio quisqueya”. That’s because the name “kiskeya” and “quisqueya” are used interchangeably to mean “mother of all lands”.

Likewise, many Haitians and Dominicans believe that these were the historical names given to the Island of Hispaniola by the native Taino people.

The network  offers both local and international listeners the ability to listen live online.

Listen Online (en direct) over the phone.
